Horse painting of California Chrome in watercolor. No one can argue the absolute beauty of the thoroughbred racehorse. Since I was a little girl, I would sit in front of the TV with my Dad and watch those horses make the post parade to the starting gate. I would dream of riding one and being the jockey. I am still mesmerized by their beauty, just the same as when I was 8 years old. Go Chrome, America is watching. We really need a hero.

A brief background, Animal Science Major in undergrad, Degree in Veterinary Medicine, I once started, owned, managed a small animal veterinary practice. I jumped out of an airplane in college, spent a summer varnishing sailboats in Newport Rhode Island, witnessed the Northern Lights unexpectedly one late night in Durham, New Hampshire. I have an amazing husband, two wonderful children (nearly grown), I am currently learning how to ride a horse again. Somewhere along the line, I picked up a paintbrush and began to paint.
